Williamsburg is one of the most modern and alternative neighbourhood in Brooklyn because a lot of artists moved here. It has really good communication with the subway and buses, so that makes it a perfect place for all the art lovers and people with their own style.

b2ap3_thumbnail_8.png

Bedford Avenue is one of the most important streets and we can see the lifestyle of Williamsburg; bicycles in the street, fresh flowers in the stores, graffiti everywhere or commercial stores are mixing here. The buildings look so similar to the Soho ones, old constructions, fire escapes in front of the street but still keeping the New Yorker style.

b2ap3_thumbnail_9.png

Walking around we find Soot and Tusk, a cute store for emergent and sustainable designers. They have a extend clothing and accessories collections for women and men and the store has a modern style with metallically pieces as furniture.

b2ap3_thumbnail_2.png

In the hangers of this place in the middle of Williamsburg there are Guiem and Ecoology, two ecologic and made in Spain Designers. In one hand Guiem’s collection gets some colour for dress alternative guys who want have style. On the other hand Ecoology makes you fall in love with their designs, they make you look fabulous and invite you to take the life slower and enjoy more of the little things.

BEIÑ ROADTRIP

After 8 days in a trip, we’re back in New York. Here you can read our diary’s trip where you can see what we visited, how we lived it and, for sure, our outfits.

Day 1 NYC-LAS VEGAS

We start the Roadtrip! We got a flight direction to Las Vegas, the city of the games. After 5 hours, finally we arrived. The suitcases were full and we had a lot of energy. We walked around to Las Vegas Boulevard, also know as The Strip. This is the main street where you can find the most important hotels; Caesars Palace, Bellagio, MGM…

The outfit was casual and so comfortable to travel and be adequate to Nevada’s weather and with a hipster touch with the hat. Anyway, the trendy in Las Vegas is a party and elegant outfit with high heels and long dresses for her and tie and smoking for him.

b2ap3_thumbnail_unnamed-1_20150203-170654_1.jpg

b2ap3_thumbnail_unnamed_20150203-170655_1.jpg

b2ap3_thumbnail_dia-2-3.JPG

Day 2 LAS VEGAS-GRAND CANYON

The second day we woke up really early, at 4 am in the morning! We decided to wear a sportive outfit because we going to the mountain and we wore the Red and Rouge turbans. They kept our heads warm with style

b2ap3_thumbnail_10384286_846732852050695_4022166455534537457_n.jpg

After two hours in the bus, finally we arrived to the Hulapai Ranch in the Grand Canyon West. There were amazing views, the kind of that they take your breath. You can’t imagine how beautiful is until you are there. The colours were mixed between the rocks and the plants. It was so cold but we were well sheltered and fashion as always. After take the traditional American lunch with mash potatoes and gravy with meat, we decided to climb up until the Eagle Point.

b2ap3_thumbnail_unnamed-2_20150203-171259_1.jpg

From that point you could see better the Grand Canyon, no words. When we come back to Las Vegas, we visited the famous Welcome to Las Vegas Sign and the wedding chapel’s Street.

Day 3 LAS VEGAS-SANTA BARBARA-SOLVANG-SAN JOSE

The third day was a road day. We left Nevada and we visited the Hover Dam, highly recommended. We drove until California, a few hours and an amazing weather was the result. In Santa Barbara we visited a Pier with some stores, where you could relax while you were looking the coconut trees. Our next stop was Solvang, a little village where everything is inspired by the Danish architecture. It seems that you where in a fairy tale. We finished the day in San José; it was an hour driving until San Francisco. This city was charmed where you could see a few of the Californian style; print t-shirts, shorts, hats, the surfer style. For that day I decided to wear destroyed boyfriend jeans and platform’s sneakers, also a print t-shirt and a jacket. We ended the day taking some cocktails in a Mexican bar.

b2ap3_thumbnail_dia3.JPG

Day 4 SAN JOSE-SAN FRANCISCO

Another rise early morning, we arrived at first hour to the Golden Gate, it is as big as it looks and much bigger. We were well covers with other of our favorite Red and Rouge turbans for the day combined with converse and a knee cut jean.

b2ap3_thumbnail_unnamed-4.jpg

Also I wore a sweater and a good coat; it was the perfect outfit for a tourist. We visited the Alcatraz Jail, the Pier 39(where you can see sea lions) and Lombard Street, the most steeped street in San Francisco.

b2ap3_thumbnail_unnamed-3.jpg

We spent the afternoon in the City Hall, where there are the City Hall, the San Francisco Library and big and nice gardens to chill out. The fashion in San Francisco is not the same as in LA, basically because of the weather. It was more similar to New York but more conservative.

Malasaña is a neighborhood in the city centre of Madrid. It is known as the  alternative place to go, but why? Because of its strategic location between Chueca (gay tradition) and Argüelles ( near the University area ). The streets of Malasaña started its history with the movement called the Movida Madrileña of the 70s and 80s. That days this place was full of rock and underground culture around the night of Madrid, right now you can find there hipsters and it is place to find new brands , designers and full of trends and stylish people.

We start our route with old fashioned bar and pubs as Palentino or Casa Camacho were you can find low cost drinks, never forget to get on "yayo"

b2ap3_thumbnail_IMAG0450.jpg

b2ap3_thumbnail_Bar_Casa_Camacho_Madrid_Malasa_a.jpg

Penta or the Via Lactea are locals of Malasaña with a large tradition that keep a little bit of what it was during the Movida Madrileña.

b2ap3_thumbnail_LaViaLactea.jpg

b2ap3_thumbnail_El-Penta-Bar.jpg

If you are looking for a new outfit or discover colorful clothing, your shops are Trakabarraka or Lady Cacahuete. Monkey Garden is a place with cool brands and emerging designers clothes.

b2ap3_thumbnail_dsc_0772.jpg

b2ap3_thumbnail_monkey13.jpg

If you are looking for a second hand shop with vintage clothing you must go to El templo de Susu.

b2ap3_thumbnail_TemplodeSusuBig.ln_sitio-original.jpg

Now it is time to eat something, but where? Our recommendation is La Pescaderia or Clarita if your are looking for a good brunch.

It is Saturday morning; I wake up and need to go to Manhattan. I arrive to Penn Station; it is in Midtown between 34th and 7 avenue. I start  walking  around with the people. Everybody has a different style and a concept about what is fashion. There is a mix between  tourists,  locals and people like me.. that we aren’t from here but that we live here. Everything converges perfectly in New York.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Foto-13-12-14-13-52-51.jpg

I’m in the 26th street and there is a building with big windows. Also it has some colorful and nice advertisings. It is the FIT(Fashion Institue of Tecnology). The FIT is a center of fashion, a college, a museum and a place to celebrate events. I can’t resist to get in, there are Christmas decorations around, everything is beautiful. In the hall there is a Christmas pop up store, where designers that studied there can show their creations.

I walk inside, there are two exhibitions; the first one Faking It: Originals, Copies, and Counterfeits and Dance and Fashion. I get inside and I can see amazing and important pieces of fashion as Valentino, Chanel or Oscar de la Renta, next to them I can see the fake piece.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Captura-de-pantalla-2014-12-20-a-las-19.03.11.pngb2ap3_thumbnail_Captura-de-pantalla-2014-12-20-a-las-19.03.01.png

After that there are accessories and bags and screens where see how to detect a fake one. It is incredible the quantity of details that you can learn. At the end of the exhibition are brands as Homies, a funny way base don Hermes inspiration.

Sometimes you should get inside the FIT, it doesn’t matter if is just five minutes. You can learn and see how the culture and the fashion are in the air.

Guiëm, the menswear brand that launched its first Spring-Summer 2014 collection last March, now presents its new collection for this Fall-Winter 2014-15, in which nature and the desire to escape from monotony take center stage.

b2ap3_thumbnail_F1000011.JPG

Warm and comfortable fabrics, combined with soft and flattering patterns and geometric and colorful prints, results in versatile, unique and easy to wear garments, that help us into a parallel universe, far from noise, chasing the winter sun rays that slip between the branches of the trees.

Quality materials and careful tailoring define the foundation of the brand. The fabrics used in this new collection are mostly cotton, also betting on organic and recycled materials in some of the clothes. The production is carried out entirely in Spain, in small runs and taking care of every detail to get clothes that will last in time.

The color is again a fundamental value in the collection: red, blue or yellow, on gray, black and white bases, create a color balance combined with exclusive prints created for this season.

As Cindirella story the shoe was the first role during it. A shoe is "an item intended to protect and comfort the human foot while doing various activities. Shoes are also used as an item of decoration. The design of shoes has varied enormously through time and from culture to culture, with appearance originally being tied to function." If I have to chose a good description for it will be "is the perfect complement that defines your personality"

Femme Fatal

Black, red with a vertiginous heel, the Pigalle by Christian Louboutin. This is the icon of the firm and the most fetish piece, the sensuality and elegance in your feet. You will be the queen of the world.

b2ap3_thumbnail_los_zapatos_mas_iconicos_de_la_historia_510433260_1200x.jpg

Naif girl

The glitter and patent leather are the fetish material. Miu Miu makes you in a princess of a story with its shoes Mary Jane.

b2ap3_thumbnail_los_zapatos_mas_iconicos_de_la_historia_513425567_1200x.jpg

Rock&Roll Star

Booty make of laces and leather is the most used shoe among models and actress. Parisian style mix with punk and rock describes this design by Alaia. When you wear them you will be a rock star in the middle of the show.

b2ap3_thumbnail_los_zapatos_mas_iconicos_de_la_historia_610840155_1200x.jpg

Sporty&chic

The sneakers is the most trendy shoe this season. You can combine with luxury dresses and you could find lot of collabs between designers and brands. However these are the shoes that every woman should have in the closet. Easy, comfty and chic. Vans by Kenzo and total white Converse.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Kenzo-para-Vans-primavera-verano-20133.jpgb2ap3_thumbnail_MTE5NTU2MzIyMzI4MjE3MDk5.jpg

Stylish girl

When you hear style your mind goes to stilettos and the king of them is Jimmy Choo. He started drawing his designs with eleven years, now is crime not have one of his designs in your closet. When you put on them you feel as you were walking in the red carpet.

b2ap3_thumbnail_fotos-jimmy-choo-tacones-aguja___2564-45384.jpg

Classy women

Pure class from Spain. You feel as a flamenco dancer when you put on them. This design by Angradema Lopez makes you sensual and elegant.

b2ap3_thumbnail_MODELO_3b_905.jpg

Sex on the city

If I say Sarah Jessica Parker and Sex on the city your mind goes straight to the Manolos. These shoes are the wish of every woman and when you are wearing them you don´y need anything else to shine and turn into the queen of the street.

After New York, Milan, Madrid, London and Paris fashion show we have chosen some trends for next season across all designers from emergent ones to famous.

Colours, fringes, floral prints, total white and the revelation clothe: the culotte. Remember these trends and you will shine.

Fringes would definitely continue until next season. Whether frayed edges or a skirt stylish "flapper", these pieces filled with attitude and a little movement are a must in every design you have. Taller de Artistas by Sonia Olla has this piece as a essential.

b2ap3_thumbnail_tumblr_inline_n1x9hb8VhO1rjvorv.png

Floral and palms prints? But no in the same way until now, next season you are going to see big and texture flowers in your  transparent and billowing garments dresses and pants. Did you remember Palmer dress by Beatriz Peñalver?

b2ap3_thumbnail_siete.jpgb2ap3_thumbnail_Alberta.Ferretti1_MFW.SS_.2015.jpg

We are going to pass from total black to total white, we have seen this trend in every designer´s runway. However, mix colors and the contrast between them are in too. This is the Pantone inform for next season.
